Nubian Natty music combines the Traditional groove of Dancehall
and Culture reggae rhythms with the urban taste of Jamaican and
Antigua style mix.

Born Randolin Livingstone in a place called "St. John's (a nice quiet country side on
the outside of the city in Antigua ), Before Relocating to St.Croix Nubian Had dreams
of becoming a singer. So she started writing songs at an early age and performing in
school talent shows and at teenager night clubs hour when she went to Charles H
Emauel Elementary School in St. Croix, Virgin Island. Before entering any studio
Nubian's best friend heard her singing around the house when they were roommates
and she decided to she was going to make nubian perform with who ever she knew
had a band , the plan worked her best friend booked her with a Band from St.Croix with
reggae singer "Chucky" her career took off from there landing her first stage show.

Surprising audiences anywhere she performs. Her recent shows
in the Mountains at Tahoe,Squaw Valley California. Also at
Azkennaz Night Club. Due to her New! release "Nah go like me"
the contorversial Lp has her well known in California and Virgin
Islands areas. This Lp was released by Groundbreaking Records
New Years Day 2007.

"Nah Go Like Me" $10.99 NUBIAN NATTY" CD REVIEW, CALLED "NAH GO LIKE ME" Nubian Natty is a conscious DJ who sounds as comfortable riding rootsy riddims as digital dancehall vibes. Female DJs are few and far between in the boys' club of dancehall reggae, but Nubian Natty obviously belongs in this fraternity, her often-stunning vocals resounding with the gruff edge of a freestyling hip-hop MC but tempered with the controlled composure of someone who knows they've mastered their craft and don't feel the need to show off. Her lyrics are cultural yet maintain a sassy old school braggadocio with a playful, charismatic delivery that, at least on the dancehall tracks, is reminiscent of a reggae version of Missy Elliott (as on the title track and the standout. "How Do You Figure This?", which are aided by producer Donny Dread's hyper, quirky beats). Her range is evident as she rips through high-energy tunes like "Vatigan Battyman" (sure to conjure images of the Catholic priest scandals) and "Lift It Up" segues smoothly into the somber "Back Road Baby" and "Empress Cry" with the poise of a veteran artist. It's exciting to hear a woman mixing it up in the dancehall realm, not only hanging with the boys but outperforming most of them on this wonderful album.
